  • VALLEY RUN STARTED AS A FUND RAISER FOR NIKKI “LETTIE” HAYNES WHO WAS DIAGNOSED WITH STAGE 2 BREAST CANCER IN 2012
  • THE 110KM RUN WAS A GROUP OF MATES WHO CHALLENGED EACH OTHER TO RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION TO THE COMRADES THE DAY BEFORE, GETTING SPONSORED, WITH ALL THE PROCEEDS GOING TO ASSISTING WITH LETTIE’S MEDICAL COSTS
  • THIS LEAD TO A FEW ‘MAD’ SOULS ATTEMPTING THE VALLEY RUN/ COMRADE DOUBLE A JOURNEY OF OVER 200KM
  • THE LETTIE LOVE FUND WAS FORMALISED AFTER LETTIE PASSED AWAY IN 2014
  • 5 YEARS ON SINCE WE STARTED WE ARE POSITIONING IT AS THE COMRADES TRAIL RUN
